Frightful Sight DSP: A Terrifying Rear View

Welcome to Stop #15 on the HJFTFI October 2011 Blog Hop!  If you’re hopping in order, you’ve just been admiring Veronica’s spooky autumn sunset at Blugrass Stamper Studio.  Wasn’t that lovely–and I can’t wait to see if she does a midnight moon version!

Here at InkPaperStamps, The Dog and I are afraid to come out of our craft room–look what flew out of our punches now!

Now that's one big-bottomed bat!

Our bodacious bat skirts a vista of Frightful Sight DSP, flitting high above a four square fold card.  (I was introduced to the four square fold card by a Fourth Tuesday Fun Fold challenge on Stampin’ Addicts–thanks, Rhonda!)

And if you think that bat’s scary, you ought to see what The Dog’s working on next–I’ve only caught a glimpse, but judging by her cackling howls, it’s a doozie.

Now it’s time to continue on the hop–next stop: The Love of Stamping, where Barb (the intrepid coordinator of our Hoppin’ Just for the Fun of It hops) has whipped up a special treat for a young October birthday boy.

Thanks for visiting InkPaperStamps–The Dog and I look forward to seeing you again soon!

  6. Very cute! Love your little bat :)

  7. Cute bat … and who would have thought those colors would work together … but they do for some reason. And I love making the four-square cards but it’s been a while. Thanx for sharing

  8. Janice says:

Great card, very clever. Tell The Dog to post his card when it is complete – The Dog has his own blog – right?

  9. Kris Kilkenny says:

Wow! Your card is so pretty and fancy with that colorful color combination. I can’t figure out how you made the bat. Hmmmm. I’ll have to keep looking at it closer.

  10. Robbie says:

Love the colors you used. That bat is too cute!

  11. Chris R. from Iowa says:

I think I could handle this fat bottomed bat! The two we have recently had flying in the house – not so much! I think we had the mother bat the first week and then the bigger, scarier one the next week flying in the bed room and then downstairs. Hopefully that is it for now on that subject! Hugs to you and The Dog!

  12. Carey Rogers says:

Great job Holly and The Dog. What punches did you use for the bat? I never have figured it out and if you wrote it I didn’t read it right. Roscoe says hi to you both. Thanks for the inspiration.
