Movers and Shapers Die: Peace on Earth Punch Art

Welcome to the InkPaperStamps stop on the Operation Write Home Blog Hop–The Dog and I are glad to see you!

Our card today is appropriate for anyone you wish to extend greetings to this year.

A harbinger of peace. . . .

Equally at home on a friend’s mantle or a colleague’s desk, this colorful easel card is held open with rhinestone brads.  Crumple and crinkle your brown cardstock until it separates, then tear carefully to create North and South America.

Don’t worry about getting it absolutely perfect–strategic placement of the graceful dove covers little imperfections.

  36. I really like the torn paper “land” on the earth, though my preference would have been to make it dark green rather than brown (personal preference – the brown looks fine!). I was especially taken with your clever way of “covering” imperfections in the torn paper with the dove! What a lovely card!

  37. Darla says:

    How creative, very cute idea!

    OWH.

  40. Kathie says:

What a great card with so many techniques! I love the torn paper look and you were so clever to make the world globe using that technique. The embossed/debossed leaf gives a great effect next to the bright white dove. And making this an easel card is the icing on the cake. How kind of you, too, to donate postage costs to OWH for comments and following your blog, nicely generous!

  41. Diane Clark-Sutton says:

Awesome. Very generous of you to donate to OWH. Great cause.
