Welcome to Stop #10 on the first-ever Hopping Just for the Fun of It Blog Hop, where our theme today is All Holidays! If you’re hopping in order, you’ve just been admiring Patrice’s creepy-cute creations at My Little Patch of Dirt. Don’t your want to trick-or-treat at her house now? Me, I’m hoping for the gel pens!
If you’re an InkPaperStamps regular, you know that The Dog and I love punch art, especially when we can incorporate a Big Shot die or two.
So you won’t be surprised that today, we’ve pulled out our punches and our Sizzix Originals Stocking Accents die, a Stampin’ Up! exclusive from the new Holiday Mini. (To add to the fun, we’re also offering some blog candy!)
Today’s project was designed for the Stampin Addicts Fall Holiday Wow swap hosted by Yapha. Crazy us, we did punch art/diecut projects–and some fun folds– for six groups in her swap. Deciding which to share first was too hard, so The Dog and I asked our ace photographer and cavort-meister to make the call.
And here’s the one he picked:
While it was not my absolute fave of the bunch, I am pretty tickled with this creation–it’s crisp, colorful and goes together quickly. Plus, using gold brads as ornaments was fun. . . so much so that The Dog got a little huffed when I stopped at three.
If you’d like to be among the first to see our ideas for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, New Year’s, and another holiday card that makes me sigh with contentment, kindly subscribe to InkPaperStamps’ free updates.

Joan!!!
This is an adorable card Holly! The brads really set it off and I love how you used the punch to make the base of the globe. Very clever!!
So simple yet so cute! You are great at punch art type things.
What a cute card! It would be easy to reproduce, too!
I’d love to see a great snowman punch – with a scarf and tophat! I’d punch him/her out in different patterned/colored papers and put him/her inside this snowglobe.
Love this card, love clean and simple, if I would add one thing….a little bling to the background…like sparkling snow.
Very cute! I can’t wait to see the one I didn’t ‘get’ . . .
Cavort-meister? LOL
Now that is one awsome idea, can’t wait to make one. LOVE it!!!!!!!!!
Great job Holly. I love both you and the Dog’s taste. The card is simple but fun.

I love the clean and crisp fell of this card. Wonderful fun card. Love it.
Oh Holly, that is super duper cute!! I’ve been so focused on the stocking die and punch, and everything else in this amazing mini, that I hadn’t realized what all was on the stocking accents die. Crap, now I want it too! lol
And rats, I just gave a whole fistful of gel pens to my son’s g/f’s 2 yr old daughter to scribble with. I’ll see if she’s using them, if not I’ll trade her for something else and send them to you with some chocolate. I think I still owe you some chocolate anyhow. Hugs
The snowglobe is too cute. I wish my dog helped me with my projects. She just like to sit on my laptop while I am trying to surf for ideas.
Very cute!
