Punch Art Idea: Big Shot Island Floral Angel (& Blog Candy)

Welcome to Stop #21 on the VC ROCKS! June 2010 Blog Hop!  I hope you’re enjoying all the neat ideas the Rockers have been sharing today.  As you can tell from the projects, this is one fun group of ladies!

If you’re hopping in order, you’ve just been admiring Marisol’s creations at A Touch of Sol.  Doesn’t she have a fun style?

A sweet angel to watch over you. . . .Here at InkPaperStamps, we’re playing with the new Sizzix Island Floral Bigz die, a Stampin’ Up! exclusive for your Big Shot.  To add to the fun, we’re also offering some blog candy!

Did you realize there’s a sweet little angel hiding in those Island Floral die cuts, just waiting for you to release her and send her on a mission?

Today, she sports a Marina Mist gown, offsetting her Early Espresso tresses to perfection.  Her vellum wings beating gently (click on the image to see the spectacular golden gossamer up close), she hovers against a Bashful Blue Scallop Circle #2 die cut sky.

Was she sent to watch over a loved one hospitalized far away?  Is she waiting for a young man or young woman to return home from having wisdom teeth pulled?  Has she been tucked in a care basket to be carried to an ailing neighbor?

Only you and the angel know where she is needed–and where your love and her blessing will be delivered next. . . .

Would you like a chance to win this sweet angel (or one customized with your color choices), an assortment of Island Floral die cuts and a 6″x6″ Prints Sampler pack of designer paper?

Holly, she is sooo cute. I love her, and love your description of her. I have just used this die this past week

I am totally amazed by this punch art! I came by your blog recently via Dawn O. I looked at the Island Floral stuff and decided it just wasn’t something I needed or will use. But, not I may have to reconsider! This angel is so precious and her wings are fantastic! I think I will check out more of the blog now. Thanks for sharing, I really like the idea of getting more out of my punches and ready to try something.

That angel is way too cute. Roscoe saw the pic of your darling baby and said Woof. He would love to have a play date if you are interested. You can come play in the stamp tree house and the kids can go outside and romp in the woods. Thanks for the inspiration.
