Holy Triptych: Angels, Nativity and a Fright! (blog candy, too)

NOTE TO EARLY BIRDS:  Welcome!  All links in the hop should be active by 12 noon ET Friday.  If you’re here early, be sure to circle back later so you don’t miss out on the multitude of fun ideas our hostesses have to inspire you!

Welcome to Stop #2 on the Stampin Addicts 2010 Last Chance Blog Hop

If you’re hopping in order, you’ve just been admiring Sarah’s Scary Skeleton creations at Sarah’s Ink Spot.  You know, that little skeleton doesn’t look scary at all, with how Sarah’s presented him–well done!

Here at InkPaperStamps, we’re playing with the Stampin’ Up! Christmas set Holy Triptych.  And, we’re also offering blog candy!

(To see the subtle details in each of today’s projects, click on it for a close-up view.  To zoom in further, click again.)

Three lovely angels. . . .First up are these lovely angel cards, based on Get Sketchy challenge GS #41.

Use them individually to acknowledge someone who has been a blessing to you.

Or, group them together in a pretty portfolio to make a fitting gift for the angel collector in your life.

This ensemble features a number of Stampin’ Up’s soon-to-be-departed Dynamic Duo colors . . . *muffled sob* may they rest in peace.

A creche you can mail. But be not afraid, for behold, I say unto you, shown this day on the blog of InkPaperStamps is a scene.

And this shall be a sign unto you:

you will find the Nativity stamped in Stazon . . . . colorable by small children . . . . and just right for sending to college students away from home, shut-ins desiring fellowship and loved ones far away.

Yes, Holy Triptych makes an elegant choice for  inspirational creations as well as for your Christmas stamping projects.

But did you know there’s something else just dying to be released from that red rubber?

*whirling winds whine out a mournful moan. . . Holly clutches The Dog and whispers. . . ‘Do you see what I see?’*

Creepy, huh. . . . Talk around the InkPaperStamps campfire is that, in the light of a full moon, Holy Triptych‘s tag with flourishes eerily transforms. . .

. . . into a vine-covered tombstone.

Who knew Holy Triptych could bring out the howl in Halloween?

*Cue creepy organ fugue here.*

(And if you don’t click on any other picture, at least be sure to click on this one.)

No matter how you use it, Holy Triptych lets you create projects of timeless, classic beauty–a beauty that, sometimes, is even haunting.

Do you feel lucky? So, would you like to win this 6″x6″ designer paper sampler pack by Stampin’ Up?
