Island Floral Bigz Die: Poinsettia Gift Tag

Gild your poinsettia with shimmer paint.

Add a touch of sparkle to your Christmas presents this year with a gilded poinsettia gift tag.

The small pointed-petal flower from the Island Floral die may have originally been designed to suggest a plumeria or other tropical blossom.

However, put two together, offset the petals and fasten with a brad and a Brushed Gold Itty Bitty Shapes punch out, and you have a lovely poinsettia.  Pop it up on a tag and it’s just the thing to turn a simply-wrapped package into a gift that attracts attention under the tree.

The Island Floral Gilded Poinsettia gift tag was first presented on the Stampin’ Addicts 2010 Summer Mini blog hop.

I don’t know how I missed this, Holly (other than work was keeping me too busy). I really like it, so please don’t send it to the Hall of Shame!

  2. Betty says:

This was hard but for some reason this one jumped out at me :)

Hey Holly congrats on the anniversary. Cute idea to have a Hall of shame (or should that be a click off). Nothing shameful about any of these though a few might not be up to your usual level of excellence still cute ideas.

Hmm…I’ve actually clipped and shared the links for 4 of the ones on your list but I guess I was in too much of a hurry to be polite and post a thank you. Belated thanks especially for this gorgeous piece
