Recently, Stampin’ Up! began offering French and Spanish versions of certain sets.
Since my elder niece has been studing French, I decided to get En Ovale instead of Only Ovals. After all, what doesn’t sound just a little bit better in French?
Here’s another ATC I made for Barb’s swap at the Stampin’ Addicts Convention 2009 Meet & Greet.
I really like how the vellum layer mutes the vivid Razzleberry Lemonade DSP. . . and the two different ways of applying Dazzling Diamonds (glue and tape) add a lot of sparkle!
RECIPE – ‘Merci, Madame Butterfly’ artist trading card
- Ink: Rich Razzleberry
- Paper: Rich Razzleberry; Crushed Curry; Razzleberry Lemonade DSP; vellum paper
- Stamps: En Ovale
- Etc.: Punches (scallop oval, large oval, scallop edge, Boho Blossoms); Tombow mono-multi; Dazzling Diamonds; Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Techniques: pavé diamonds

Great idea using the vellum to tone down the Razz. Lemonade!
Super cute!! I love that there are so many stamp sets available in English, Spanish AND French now!
What a great card. I’m in awe of the Great Hollini
Hopefully, with the French sets now available in the US as well, sales will go up and we’ll get more translated sets!
(A girl can always dream…)
TFS!
